Asomiya

A stylized digital comic-panel illustration capturing a soft, meditative transformation through gesture and symbolism. Created using Procreate, this piece blends traditional Indian elements with surreal storytelling — where everyday objects, like a flute or a saree border, become symbols of inner freedom.

The artwork follows a narrative rhythm: closed eyes birthing flying birds, flowers blooming from movement, and a red bindi becoming the anchor of grace. The composition is framed like a graphic novel, using dynamic panel divisions and white-cutout layering to guide the viewer’s attention. Color harmony is maintained through earthy ochres, muted reds, and soft shadows. The saree pleats are stylized with graphic folds and digital ink contours, staying true to a painterly–yet–flat aesthetic.
